Show Synopsis

About “Medicina Moderna” (Modern Medicine):

“Medicina Moderna” is the first Spanish-language, healthcare-oriented, reality television show. Individuals will compete for a grand prize of $10,000 and an executive position at Cano Health Center in Pembroke Pines, Florida. The reality show stars twelve contestants from diverse backgrounds. Each week, the contestants will be tasked with creating and managing healthcare related activities. Their task performance and execution will be judged by a panel of experts. At the end of every challenge, one contestant will be sent home until a winner is declared.

The reality show will seek to inform viewers on the most important local, national and international health-related topics. The show will focus on all the different sectors of medicine both on the clinical and administrative sides with the end goal being to satisfy the growing demand for quality medical care.

The hour long reality show will be nationally televised weekly on VME TV (the first national Spanish language television network in association with Public Television Stations (PBS)). There will be 14 episodes in the first season.
